Although Mufti Rizaeddin Fakhreddin, he did not study under Shihabuddin Marjani, he gained much knowledge through his books. In his fundamental work, “Asar” (“Works”), he dedicated 50 pages to him, which provides rich information about his family tree, personality, children, appearance, mentors, students, books, mistakes, etc. According to Rizaeddin Hazrat, Marjani was the very first scholar among Muslims of Russia who studied the activities of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiya. Fakhreddin, as a painstaking historian and theologian, always tried to reach the truth. He did not blindly trust Marjani's arguments; instead, he tried to study and analyze every question that he raised. Although the opinion of such a great Tatar scientist as Shihabuddin Marjani was authority for him, he revealed some errors in his works. One such issue was the creed of Ibn Taymiya, whom some accused of asserting God's corporeality and the physical presence of God in a particular place, and the ban on visiting the grave of the Prophet Muhammad. Fakhreddin, having carefully studied his books, found out that the scientist was slandered and misunderstood. He cited his arguments and other scholars' arguments on this issue. According to Fakhreddin, Marjani made some incorrect statements because he did not directly study the works of Ibn Taymiya, but instead relied on the Muslim philosopher Dawwani and included his quotes in his books. Simultaneously, Fakhreddin politely pointed out these errors to Marjani and immediately tried to justify him. Mufti Fakhreddin, like another Mufti Galimjan Barudi, studied the books of Ibn Taymiya, agreed with his views, even set this scientist as an example, and did not allow anyone to stain his name unfairly.
