Papers that comply with the criteria listed above should be sent to the email address: his.ethnology@gmail.com

The author shall be sent a confirmation about receiving the manuscript submission by the journal secretary within one week.

All the articles published in the journal undergo a check for authenticity of the material and the amount of borrowed fragments using the Antiplagiat automated detection system.

All manuscripts undergo the procedure of reviewing. Read more: Regulations of Article Reviewing, Ethical Principles of Reviewers’ Work.
All manuscripts undergo a process of editing. Read more: Ethical Principles in Editor’s Work. Materials for the current issue are selected in accordance with the editorial office plans. The editorial staff retains the right to move the paper to a thematic issue, shorten and edit articles. Editor’s alterations can be subject to agreement based on the author’s pre-arranged preferences.

Any illustrations (except the photographs made by the authors themselves) attached to the article, must be accompanied by an official written permission for reproduction from their owner or theьcurrent copyright holder. Read more: Article Style Guidelines. Unidentified illustrations, for which permission forms have not been provided, can not be accepted for publication.

In case of going through all the stages successfully (compliance of the article with the journal’s scope and style guidelines, lack of plagiarism, positive feedback from reviewers, written permission forms of illustration authors), the paper is accepted for publication. If the manuscript is rejected, the editorial staff sends a well-reasoned rejection and does not engage in controversy with authors.

The author or all co-authors sign a license agreement at the stage of submitting an article for publication. Read more: License Agreement with an Author.

It takes at least three months for a registered manuscript to get published due to the technological process of publishing the journal.

All the materials presented in the journal are protected by copyright.
The journal does not charge authors for editing and publication. Author’s fees are not provided.

After the journal issue is published, a notification with a link to the journal website is sent to authors.

Author’s (printed) copies are not sent out by post. Authors can pick them up on their own in the editorial office by prior arrangement with the journal’s technical secretary.
