The article discusses the influence of cultural and literary cooperation between Tatar, Bashkir and Uzbek enlighteners on the development of contemporary Uzbekistan and the country’s creative circles. The paper reveals the role of the outstanding Tatar poet, literary critic, publicist and translator G. Tukay in the formation of the Uzbek poet and publicist Gafur Gulyam’s worldview. The authors conducted a retrospective historical and literary analysis of the Uzbek and Tatar Soviet Socialistic Republic poets and writers.
